Andre Breedt is the Managing Director of Nielsen Book. Having embarked on his journey with Nielsen, Andre has navigated through various roles, from R&D analysis and publisher account management to the position of Director of Book Research-UK in 2014. In 2019, he ascended to the role of Managing Director of Nielsen Books. His leadership has propelled the company to unprecedented success, both domestically and internationally.
Andre spearheaded the expansion of Nielsen's footprint globally by contributing to the launch of new Nielsen BookScan markets in Brazil, Mexico, and India. His endeavors went beyond data collection and analysis; he endeavored to establish industry standards and best practices in market research, particularly within the book sector.
Andre pursued his academic interests in philosophy, English, and politics at the University of Pretoria, where he obtained his bachelor's degree in these disciplines.
