Hamoud Almahmoud is a prominent figure in journalism and content creation. Hailing from Damascus, he immersed himself in the study of journalism, earning specialized academic degrees that garnered him numerous prestigious accolades for his journalistic prowess.
Commencing his career as a reporter and researcher at esteemed international institutions like "SHI" and others, Hammoud later ventured into media training, specializing in solutions journalism under the global "Solutions Journalism Network" in the United States. He further honed his skills as a professional media trainer, collaborating with renowned entities such as BBC, CNN, Reuters, and Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ). His expertise led him to participate in various international and Arab conferences. He also served as a judge of the Dubai-based Arab Journalism Awards and a jury member for the ARIJ Awards. Notably, he authored the book "Change; How to Challenge Yourself Before the World Challenges You" and contributed to developing the Investigative Journalism Guide published by the European Media Center.
Presently, Hamoud Almahmoud serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Fortune Arabia and Majarra, having previously held the same position at Harvard Business Review Arabia.
With bachelor's and master's degrees in journalism under his belt, Hammoud is currently pursuing his doctoral thesis in media studies. He participated in fellowship programs at Northwestern University and the International Monetary Fund, focusing on business and media management.
